Mitsubishi Electric Solar Panels mean high efficiency and durability. These modules are engineered for extended use in environments with harsh weather conditions and extreme temperatures. They also have a lower environmental impact than other solar panels.

All Mitsubishi solar modules feature a 25-year limited warranty on power output and are designed to deliver electricity for years to come with no problem. Download Warranty details.

These are the solar industry’s first mass-produced “solder-coatingless cells”.  For the silver electrodes found on the solar cell surface, Mitsubishi has developed composition and manufacturing processes that excel in environmental resistance.

This has paved the way for this exciting new technology, which, as the name suggests, requires no solder coating. This removes lead, which is good as it is harmful to the human body. Cell efficiency is improved by the resulting expanded light reflection and the solderless status. Note: Mitsubishi 125's require MC4 extension cables. These must be purchased separately.

About Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi solar panels

Mitsubishi Electric has been in the solar electric field since its infancy in the 70s, when they made the first solar panels to provide power to satellites. They continue to lead the industry with their photovoltaic modules, designed both for commercial and residential grid-tie applications. Mitsubishi solar panels offer both high performance and reliability and meet the requirements of international quality standards (UL 1703, IEC 61215, TÜV Safety Class II).

Mitsubishi Electric has perfected a manufacturing process that limits the use of harmful lead solder by using silver electrodes on the surface of their solar panels. This proprietary technology makes their panels especially weather resistant. It also allows panels to uniformly reflect the sun’s rays, improving cell efficiency. Solar panels with high efficiency make the best use of limited space, and lower costs by reducing the number of modules needed. Their newest panels boast an efficiency rating of 13.7 percent.

Further environmentally friendly innovation has reduced the energy it takes to produce their panels.

TECH TIP: The 170-watt and larger modules are designed for use in high-voltage grid-tie applications, but can be used in large industrial and off-grid applications for battery charging with the appropriate MPPT charge controller.)
