Kilowatt-hour calculations

A Kilowatt-Hour is one kilowatt multiplied by one hour, or 1,000 watts multiplied by one hour. For example, if a light uses 100 watts for 10 hours, it is 1000 watt hours or 1 kilowatt hour.
