What is MPPT?


MPPT is maximum power point tracking, a type of charge controller that maximizes efficiency. By allowing high voltage PV arrays, the MPPT controller can take a higher voltage input and step it down to meet the needs of a system whether it is 12, 24, or 48 volts.
