 Advanced Energy’s PV Powered line of small commercial and residential gridtie inverters deliver technical innovation with high reliability. Founded in Bend, Oregon, in 2003, PV Powered was acquired in March 2010 by Advanced Energy, a global leader in thin-film utility scale manufacturing. Advanced Energy has been in business since 1981.
Designed to lower the total cost of PV system installations, PV Powered inverters boast a 97 percent CEC efficiency rating. They are the only residential inverters in today's market (2011) that are integrated with AC/DC PV System Disconnects and listed to the UL 98 Standard. Made in the USA, their inverters are ARRA compliant and are UL listed to Canadian and U.S. specifications. All PV Powered inverters are field configurable for positive ground applications with a simple jumper selection.
PV Powered inverters have won the Solar Energy Grid Integration System (SEGIS) award, a program organized by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). They come with a standard 5-year warranty, and an optional 20-year warranty.
