Power One’s Aurora® PVI 3.6 inverter provides users with advanced features, and a high level of user customization. The PVI 3.6 features a sealed NEMA 4X enclosure, providing superior protection from harsh environmental conditions. Precise MPPT protocols bring energy yields up to 96% efficiency. Dual input sections, tracking independent MPPT strings, optimize power from two separate arrays, oriented in different directions, or arranged in different string sizes. Both MPPT input sections can be paralleled for use with a single array. The PVI 3.6 inverter conforms to a wide range of input voltage (90-600VDC), allowing for low wattage installations with reduced string sizes.

The Aurora® PVI 3.6 inverter can be configured for 240V split-phase, or 208V/277V (480V WYE) three phase delta output.

The Aurora® line of inverters are compatible with Power One’s advanced PVI DESKTOP monitor, providing the user with updates on energy production, voltage, and current data via wireless connection, RS-485, or CAT5 cable. The high-speed processors can handle updates from up to six Aurora® inverters at once. Wireless links require the optional PVI RADIOMODULE transceiver.

The Aurora Easy Control system allows the user to receive updates from remote installations by using either an Ethernet/Internet connection or cellular phone technology. Proprietary designs allow for large customized expansion, linking up to 128 devices using RS-485 communications port data.
