The PST-100S-12A Pure Sinewave inverter converts the DC voltage of the battery to 115 V, 60 Hz AC volts. The voltage conversion happens in two steps. In the first step, the DC voltage of the battery is converted to a high voltage DC using high frequency switching and Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technique. In the second step, the high voltage DC is changed to 115 V, 60 Hz sinewave AC again using PWM technique. This is accomplished with a special wave shaping technique where the high voltage DC is switched at a high frequency and the pulse width of this switching is modulated with respect to a reference sine wave.
The PST-100S-12A manufactured by Samlex America, Inc. is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and equipment under normal use and service. This guarantee is in effect for 2 years from the date of purchase by the user.
