SANYO HIT modules produce electricity. HIT solar cells handle high temperatures better than conventional crystalline silicon solar cells. As the temperature outside gets hotter HIT solar cells produce more power (kWh) than conventional crystalline silicon solar cells at the same temperature. SANYO HIT solar cells are thinner than conventional solar cells- 0.2mm vs. about 0.35mm, so they use less silicon materials. Modules have a black anodized aluminum frame, come pre-equipped with an electrically safe junction box, lead wires, and MC™ connectors.
These modules are 100% emission free, and have no moving parts (low maintenance). Product workmanship is guaranteed for 2 years and power output performance for 20 years. The modules resist wind, fire and 1” hail. A special anti-reflective coating is applied to HIT solar cells enabling maximum sunlight absorption. Since the modules weigh less than conventional modules they reduce weight that must be born by your roof. The module’s unique frame makes installation faster and less expensive.
