|At this time, are your solar panels and other equipment performing to your expectations? What do you like about the system? What do you dislike?
Yes, the system has been awesome! I really couldn't ask for more. They work well and I can monitor them from anywhere. That's what I really like about them. Also, with the Enphase system, I don't worry about having a problem with one panel and having all of them stop working. I can simply isolate the panel or inverter problem and deal with it without losing production from the rest of the system. I can't really think of anything I don't like. I do wish i had a few more, however. Or a battery system backing them up instead of paying the crooks on Maui their ridiculous prices for being gridtied and what little juice I do have to buy.
Did you install it yourself or work with a contractor?
If you worked with a contractor, can we contact your contractor?
In the photos, I'm the one with the Motown hat and my contractor is the one with the straw hat. And, yes, you may contact him. I believe you have his info already. If you need it let me know. The other guy is my brother.
We put the system in together and, since it was our first time, it took a total of maybe 10 or 12 hours over a couple of days. Knowing what we know now, I'm sure it could be done in 8-10 hours easily. A small suggested instructional of what you have, what you need, and how to move forward, would have been helpful. nevertheless, it wasn't that bad and we managed fairly easily to pull it off without a hitch.
Would you recommend Wholesale Solar to your friends and neighbors who are also interested in solar energy?
Most certainly. You, Isaac, made all the difference... walking us through the tough spots was very helpful. I really liked the personal attention and being there for us after the point of sale -- Very classy.
Do you have any additional comments or recommendations that would help us improve your future experiences working with us?
No, just the small list I mentioned. It was a little daunting getting three pallets in the mail and having to figure out how to move forward and what exactly we still needed to do the job. Again, not a big thing, but a little directional would have been helpful.
