Outback Power FLEXnet DC System Monitor

The FLEXnet DC System Monitor integrates with an OutBack MATE communications device to provide the information you need about your home power system’s health, performance and efficiency. You can easily see your system’s existing condition with this at-a-glance display of your present state-of-charge, whether you are currently charging or discharging your batteries.

Monitor the quantity of energy your system is currently producing and consuming as well as the amount of energy going IN and OUT of your battery bank with the Flexnet. It allows the Mate to display real-time energy production from DC sources, such as a solar array or small wind generators, as well as consumption by loads. It also displays the cumulative electricity your system has produced and used as well as the total amount of power that has gone to charging your batteries today. This screen shows the current day's lowest state-of-charge and allows you to view how your total system production compared to system consumption. You can review past energy production and consumption data for the most recent 128 days, including the minimum battery state-of-charge reached for each day. System data is displayed through a Mate remote and can be used to monitor energy system production and consumption trends.

About Outback Power

Founded in 2001 by three engineers with a long history of developing technologies for renewable energy applications, OutBack’s founders believed that the renewable energy industry was on the verge of unparalleled growth, driven by the emerging need for sustainable alternative sources of energy.

OutBack initially designed and manufactured integration hardware used by solar installers to house and protect power electronics installed in remote environments and harsh condition locations around the world. Soon the company launched an advanced line of rugged inverter products that delivered pure sinewave power for off-grid residential and commercial installations, ultimately expanding its offering to include off-grid inverters with battery backup, grid-tie inverters with battery backup, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) charge controllers, communications products and a complete line of OutBack EnergyCell batteries designed specifically for renewable energy applications. Over that time, they forged a reputation as the recognized leader in the design and manufacture of battery-based, off-grid renewable energy systems.

17 years later, they continue to lead the way with advanced off-grid and grid-interactive battery-based renewable energy systems, the fully UL 1741 SA listed Radian Series and FXR Series inverter/chargers and their SystemEdge packages that bundle the right combination of energy storage and power electronics, merging energy independence with smart home technology for a range of common applications.

OutBack is also a member of The Alpha Group -- a global alliance of independent companies that share a common philosophy of creating world-class powering solutions for the renewable energy, communication, commercial and industrial markets. Bottom line: If you are installing or upgrading to a battery-based renewable energy system, the Solar + Energy Storage Experts at OutBack Power are the only choice.
